Fish Wing Soup
Its been rather chilly here in Perth lately, so of course a bowl of soup would keep me and my tummy warm!   I was recommended a new restaurant to try who apparently makes the “best” Fish Wing Mi Fun Soup! Happy Union Restaurant in Kardinya.  I brought my mum and dad out for lunch there because mum said that’s her favourite dish. We ordered some other dishes, Peking spare ribs, sambal runner beans and snow peas and steamed rice.  I have to say I really enjoyed the Fish Wing Mi Fun Soup!  The fish wings were nice a crispy and flavoursome and the mi fun soup was a clear soup with mi fun and vegetables.  Very soft on the pallet.  Not overwhelming in the taste. The other dishes were equally as delicious.  Both mum and dad had happy tummies and thats the main thing!
Before
On this particular day I had a craving for good ole “fried ice cream”. Now I know this is very western , but mmmmmmm I love love love fried ice cream, especially, when the outside casing is coated in desiccated coconut and its got that roasted coconut smell and taste.Absolutely delish!!  …..I did tell you that I’m a mashed up banana!!
After
It was a Happy Union for our bellies that day!

Lol! It's you who introduced me to fried ice cream. So it sure is not a general western thing. Maybe Ozzie?
